For a long time we have wanted to give Kayaking a go, but everywhere we went it seemed that we could only rent out a Sit On Top Kayak and paddle around a lake, or take part in a lengthy and expensive course! We longed for something more exciting that just sitting on a flat lake but struggled to find the right place. However, after some inquiries we came across a tailored course "from pond to river" in a day for those willing to push themselves...So we jumped at the chance and loved every minute!

Learning to Kayak: Thrown in at the Deep End at Burrs!

When in Krakow the Wieliczka Salt Mines are a must see, only 10km outside of the city and a 30-40 minute ride the UNESCO heritage site is the pride of Poland representing the generations of miners who carved the magnificent features and their work ethic. It is one of the most popular attractions of Poland and one of the oldest salt mines in existence producing table salt from the 13th century until 2007!
